After the events of Pups and the Revolting Resident Riot; Rio and Cali get married. In the episode: Pups Save a Litter, Cali gives birth to four kittens. Buster, Nico, Prowla and Katrina. In that episode; the pups have to rescue them when they are captured by Dr. Octavious Brine in order to turn kittens into monsters! But the pups manage to rescue them before the Manical Mollusk could turn them into monsters!
